Jason has more than 26 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate complex wealth decisions. In 2021, he led the formation of Famiglia Wealth, establishing the firm as an independent wealth management practice dedicated to delivering objective,client-centered advice.
He began his career at PaineWebber (now UBS) before joining Morgan Stanley in 2011. Throughout his career, Jason has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, as well as the Family Wealth Advisor (FWA) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designations.
In recognition of his commitment to clients, Jason was named a Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor in 2021, an award earned by only 120 advisors in Michigan. In 2025 Jason was recognized as a Forbes Best-In-State Private Wealth Advisor, an award earned by under 50 advisors in Michigan. Additionally in 2024 and 2025 he was named in Advisor Hubs Top Advisor to Watch Rankings of the Top 250 in the Country under $1Billion.
BEYOND THE OFFICE
Jason’s perspective was shaped early in life by spending two childhood years living in Hong Kong, an experience that fostered his appreciation for new cultures, diverse perspectives, and lifelong learning.
A lifelong member of the Detroit-area community, Jason graduated with honors from Brother Rice High School and Michigan State University before building his career serving families throughout Southeast Michigan.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children. He coaches their basketball and soccer teams and volunteers at their school, staying actively involved in the local community.
Jason’s favorite pastime is spending time with his family. Maui is the preferred spot, but he also could be coaching them or walking to town for dinner with his wife of 21 years. Jason has 8 podium finishes in offshore sailboat racing and loves spending time outdoors.
PERSONAL INTEREST
- Competed in more than 30 Mackinac Yacht Races on both Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, including back-to-back class victories in 2009 and 2010
- Participated in first Trail Marathon and won in 2021
- Avid reader with interests in leadership, business, military history, survival, and psychology
- Resides in Birmingham, Michigan
